I work in the facilities department for a large corporate office in Abu Dhabi and we've been having constant complaints from staff about the difficulty of moving heavy boxes of documents, supplies, and equipment between floors, especially since our building has some pretty long corridors and we don't have a proper loading dock. We've been using these cheap little hand trucks that can barely handle the weight and keep breaking down, and I'm honestly worried that someone's going to hurt themselves trying to move a heavy load with inadequate equipment. I've been looking at various options and I think a platform trolley 300kg would be a game changer for us because it would handle the weight of our typical loads easily, and the larger platform would mean fewer trips back and forth. The thing that's really selling me on it is the handle design because our current trolleys have handles at an awkward height that makes them uncomfortable to push for any distance, and I want something that's actually ergonomic for our staff. My main concern is whether the wheels are suitable for both carpeted areas and the hard flooring we have in the common areas, because I've seen trolleys get stuck where the flooring changes and it's really frustrating. Has anyone else implemented a better trolley system in a corporate environment and seen a real improvement in efficiency and safety?
